Steve Webb was born in Glasgow to Cathy and Duncan Webb, he was an only son. Due to his mother suffering from poor health Steve lived with his grandparents in Hollybush Road Penilee. He lived in Hollybush Road for the majority of his life after his grandparents passed away he lived with his aunt Jeannie. He worked in a local factory and was well liked and enjoyed his work greatly.
He was 47 years old when he died. Steve was a devoted husband to Dolores and a loving daddy to Oliver. He was a husband, Father, son in-law, nephew, brother in-law, uncle, cousin, work mate and good friend to many.
Steve and I married 27th October 2001. Steve had seen me when I was just 16 years old and for him it was as he put it "thunderbolt city" We had a fantastic life together that's not to say we didn't have our tough times but the tough times out-weighed the good times by far. Steve was a loving husband who I adored and in February 2005 we became the proud parents of our beautiful son Oliver. Steve became ill about 6 weeks after Oliver was born, he died on the 24th May 05.
Steve had a beautiful smile and a great sense of humour, his nick name was 'wee rabbie' because of his patriotic love for Scotland and all things Jacobite. He enjoyed real ale, horse racing, football, rugby, fine wine and the company of women - even his mother in-law! He had a great affection for her and was very proud to call her 'my mother in-law.'
Steve had a great affection for all the women in his life but some women like his mother in-law and sisters in-laws Maureen, Gemma and Yvonne were top of his list.
Maureen was his 'babe next door' Gemma was his horse racing buddy and
Yvonne was his back up wife, often stating if he hadn't married me and she wasn't married to Thomas he'd have married her.
Steve loved and adored his little boy Oliver and I know that as Oliver grows up and hears many stories about his daddy he will come to know how very lucky he was to have Steve for his daddy.
Steve walked in and out of many peoples lives and his death has left a huge void for many.
Steve filled my life with love, laughter and joy and I miss him very much.

sleep well daddy
Rest now Steve,
Your life in eternity has begun.
All of heaven is now in your view.
Look all around, it’s all in your sight;
there will never be another dark night.
Flowers and jewels, the street of pure gold, and all of the things that have been told.
We can just imagine the smile on your face as you walk around in that beautiful place.
Greeting our loved ones as you walk along, while singing heaven's most beautiful song.
This is so very hard, but it will all be okay, it isn't goodbye, we’ll see you one day.
We love you and we'll miss you and at times it will be tough, but as with everything, God’s grace will be enough.
May you rest in peace
Sleep well
Dolores & Oliver

Wish
I Wish I Could See You One More Time
Come Walking Through My Door
But, I Know That Is Impossible
I Will Hear Your Voice No More
I Know You Can Feel My Tears
And You Don’t Want Me To Cry
Yet, My Heart Is Broken
Because I Can’t Understand Why
Someone So Precious Had To Die
I Pray The Lord Will Give Me Strength
And Somehow Get Me Through
As I Struggle With This Heartache
That Was Caused By Losing You
